River's Edge Community Church hosts an annual Swing dance...and it's almost here! I created a new flyer for this year's dance and think it looks great! Swing dancing is so much fun-- and a great work out...give it a try, you'll love it! Working on the flyer made me want to dance-- I can't wait for November 7th to get here! Grab your dancing shoes and fit the floor...it's time for a swing dance!!

Seasonal Sweets Business Cards
Seasonal Sweets, which is located in Burlington Vermont has had their business cards created and ready to go. I just ordered them a few days ago and think they look great. Seasonal Sweets is currently specializing in wedding cakes and seasonal bakery items (this fall--apple pie or crisp seem to be a big hit!!) Hopefully is the upcoming year they will be able to open a store front they've had their eye on for a while now. Just waiting for the perfect time to make their move! :)

Happy Birthday Masiah!
I have been bad about blogging recently..sorry! I can't believe how time flies!! It seems like just yesterday my office mate today me she was pregnant!...and now he's getting ready to turn 2 on October 2nd..I can't believe it. :) So a week or two ago Sheree (Mommy) asked me to create an invitation for Masiah's 2nd birthday party and naming ceremony. Sheree wanted to use the colors purple and gold and use a cute recent picture of her growing boy. :)
Not sure what a "naming cermony" is....dont' worry I didn't either!! After I asked Sheree a ton of questions, this is what I was able to gather. A naming ceremony is an African tradition where members of the family and officiant gather around the child being named. The parents tell everyone what the name means and then family and friend pray over the child. The officiant also has certain herbs that the family eats as they prayer...each herb means something significant to be prayed for. I think it was pretty cool to learn about...I love learning about different cultures-- it's what makes us unique! :) Check out the invitation:

We're been blogged! :)
Check out Elegant Event Sitters blog! They have mentioned how much they enjoyed working with Flair Marketing! I'm thrilled Tish was happy with my work and that we will be working together in the future. It's actually been a lot of fun getting to know her and we now keep in touch periodically with upcoming events and things that might help each other with business. Fun times for Flair Marketing!!

Seton Montessori Logo
Seton Montessori is based out of Chicago, Illinois and was looking to spruce up their logo idea to make it so they would be proud to display it! We came up with a red and blue version...one for the Institute and one for the School. It was great working with them and I hope to do further projects for them in the future. :) As I mentioned in the previous blog, their logo was inspired by a teaching tool called the Table of Pythagoras. Take a look and let me know what you think!! :)
The inspiration:
Here is what we came up with for the final logos.....
The Blue Logo:
The Red Logo:
I think they look great and my contacts at the school were very excited about them and can't wait to begin using them!! So if you're ever in Chicago and want to see a nice logo from Flair Marketing...stop by their school haha :)

Montessori School Logo and vacation!
Wow, I've been super busy recently!! Back from vacation and trying to keep up and catch up with all the pieces. I've gotten the business cards printed and while I was away they arrived--and look great!
Since I've been home I landed a client located just outside of Chicago. It's a Montessori School and Institute looking to update their logo. They already had a pretty good sense of what they were looking for and wanted to someone to punch it up a bit and put some professional touches to it. The logo was inspired by an instrument students in Montessori schools use in their math classes, called a Table of Pythagoras. One version of the logo will be Red for the Institute and one will be blue for the School. Stay tuned to see the final result!
On another note, vacation was amazing!! It was the perfect week in N. Myrtle Beach, SC. It was sunny all week and H - O - T!! Every morning we would wake up for breakfast then play on the beach (I mostly read on the beach...one of my favorite things to do at the beach!) until 3 or 4 then head back and visit the pool for a while. Then dinner and fun at night!! I will post some pictures when I get a chance to upload them to my computer.
